Awakening Wonder: Physical Science is a course guide that provides a road map for students to explore the intriguing fields of the physical sciences including matter, energy, chemical reactions, light, sound, magnetism, electricity and more. The course guide contains easy to read weekly schedules showing daily assignments and a list of materials needed to conduct that week's hands-on laboratory activities. Reproducible student notebook pages encourage note-taking and include a lab sheet for recording laboratory activities and a periodic table that can be completed by the student. Awakening Wonder: Physical Science is intended for use by homeschool students working at a middle school grade level, however it could be adapted to work well for younger students, or could be used as a high school science course for students who do not plan on attending college.
